JOB TITLE: Sales Manager 2 Positions
REPORTS TO: General Manager / Head of Business Development / Managing Director
DEPARTMENT: Head Office or Assigned Branch (e.g., Kampala, Mukono)
DUTY STATION: Head Office or Assigned Branch (e.g., Kampala, Mukono)
Job Purpose:

To develop, lead, and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and brand visibility while managing and motivating the sales team to achieve company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Lead, train, and supervise sales representatives.

  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

  • Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.

  • Ensure excellent customer service standards.

  • Coordinate with marketing and finance departments.

  • Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships.

  • Conduct sales performance evaluations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Customer care skills:

  • Strong client relationship management.

  • Complaint handling and conflict resolution.

  • High emotional intelligence.

  • Professional communication skills.

  • Ability to build long-term customer loyalty.

  • Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:

    • Business Administration

    • Marketing

    • Commerce

    • Economics

    • Entrepreneurship

  • Professional certifications in Sales or Marketing are an added advantage.

  • MBA is an added advantage.

  • Work Experience:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales.

  • At least 1 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Experience in banking, fintech, microfinance, telecom, FMCG, or related sectors is an added advantage.
